It is nearly that time again, oh no it isn’t, oh yes it is!!
Tickets for the ever-popular Youlgreave pantomime go on sale this Monday.
Jack and the Beanstalk has been written and produced by Nick Stacey and is being directed by Mick Partridge who always plays the wonderful Dame Trott.
The children’s audition was held at the beginning of September and since then both the chorus and adults rehearsals have been in full swing.
The ladies in the costume department have been working day and night to produce a wonderful array of costumes that have now become synonymous with Youlgreave panto whilst the backstage and props departments have been painting backdrops and building stage furniture to their usual high standard.
The panto will be performed at Youlgreave Village Hall, from Tuesday January 25 to Saturday February 5 at 7.30pm.
Matinees are on both Saturday afternoons, January 29 and February 5.
There are no performances on the Sunday and Monday.
Mike and Ingrid Newman will be taking advance bookings for the show from December 6 to 20 and January 3 onwards.
Call 01629 636084 between 10am-6pm Monday to Friday or between 10am and 1pm on Saturday. Tickets are £6 adults, £3 children, with a reduced price on January 25 of £3 adults, £1.50 children. Ticket sell out fast, so to avoid disappointment book yours in good time
