BRIDGE CAR PARK
The first car park as you enter Bakewell from the Baslow direction. Turn left before the old bridge onto Coombes Road and the car park is on your right. It has 155 spaces and is open 7 days a week and is currently open 24 hours.
Charges : Up to 2 hours £1.50
2 to 4 hours £3.50
All day £4.00
6pm – midnight £1.50
Overnight same as day rate

SMITHS ISLAND CAR PARK
Carry on past the turning to the Bridge car park and take the next right and straight on into Smiths Island. The first section is short stay and has 120 spaces and a maximum stay of 2 hours.
Charges: Up to 1 hour £0.80p
1 to 2 hours £1.50
The second section of Smiths Island is long stay and has 450 spaces and a maximum stay of all day up to 6pm. The car park closes at 6pm prompt.
Charges : Up to 4 hours £3.00
Over 4 hours £4.00
Smiths Island is open 7 days a week opening at 6.30am and closing at 6pm
This car park is a short walk to Bakewell centre

BAKEWELL MARKET PLACE CAR PARK
If you have crossed over the old bridge and take the first left, Market place car park is on your right. This car park is short stay only and has 61 spaces.

GRANBY ROAD CAR PARK
This car park has 124 spaces and is a mix of spaces. The long stay area is in the rear courtyard.

AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS CENTRE CAR PARK
This car park has 420 spaces. It is the first car park on the right if you are coming into Bakewell from the Matlock direction. It is only a short walk across the river away from the Bakewell centre.

NEW STREET CAR PARK
This car park is pay and display situated to the rear of the Castle Pub and very close to Bakewell centre but only has 22 spaces.

STATION ROAD CAR PARK 10am – 6pm
This car park is a pay and display situated 1/3 of a mile at the top of Station Road in the old station and has 25 spaces. This car park is ideal for those planning to walk the Monsal Trail. The walk into Bakewell is probably around a mile down the hill. So just be aware that the walk back is going to be uphill.
