Bath Street
Bath Street links the Buston Road with Anchor Square and the A619 to Baslow. It is tucked away behind the recreation park, popular with tourists and residents alike. Bakewell was once famous for a number of wells but most of these have run dry or been filled in. One of the original wells (which serve up water rich in iron at a temperature of 15 degrees Centigrade) still survives – the Bath-well in Bath Street.
